Mamenchisaurus constructus

Nannococcyx psix was an extinct cuckoo from St. Helena Island in the South Atlantic. Part of the remarkable endemic bird fauna that evolved on this remote volcanic island, it became extinct following human discovery and colonization of St. Helena.

One of the most iconic periods for dinosaurs. Giant sauropods like Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus roamed alongside predators like Allosaurus. Archaeopteryx, the earliest known bird, appeared. The Morrison Formation preserves an extraordinary fossil record from this time.
