† Nigersaurus taqueti was a rebbachisaurid sauropod (~9m) from the Cretaceous of Niger. Extraordinary for its broad, transversely oriented dental battery with up to 500 tiny replacement teeth—a 'dinosaur vacuum cleaner' adapted for grazing low-growing ground vegetation.
