The thick skulls (up to 25cm in Pachycephalosaurus) were used in head-butting contests similar to modern bighorn sheep, or for flank-butting displays.
Diet & Feeding
Mergus milleneri was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
