† Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai was a second Pachyrhinosaurus species from the Late Cretaceous of Alberta with an elaborate bony horn projecting from its frill. Large bonebeds preserving hundreds of individuals suggest these ceratopsids formed migrating herds.
Diet & Feeding
Messelasturidae was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
