† Palaeorallus troxelli was an extinct rail (Rallidae) from the Cretaceous or Paleogene of the United States. A carnivorous wetland bird, it inhabited North American marshes. Its stratigraphic position near the K-Pg boundary makes it significant for avian survival studies.
