† Panguraptor lufengensis was a small coelophysoid theropod dinosaur from the Early Jurassic Lufeng Formation of Yunnan, China. A cursorial carnivore approximately 1.5 m long, it inhabited subtropical forests alongside early sauropodomorphs during the early diversification of dinosaurs.

Panguraptor lufengensis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.

Panguraptor lufengensis lived during the Jurassic Early period of the Mesozoic Era, approximately 201,4 to 174,7 million years ago.
