† Phalacrocorax macropus was an extinct cormorant (Phalacrocoracidae) from United States. A piscivorous diving seabird, it inhabited Cenozoic coastal and freshwater environments. Fossil cormorants contribute to understanding the evolution of Suliformes diving seabirds.
Diet & Feeding
