† Eoabelisaurus mefi — a Middle Jurassic abelisaurid ceratosaur from Patagonia, Argentina. One of the earliest known abelisaurids, extending the family's record back to ~170 Ma. Medium-sized carnivore with reduced forelimbs characteristic of the lineage. Described from the Cañadón Asfalto Formation.
