† Eoalulavis hoyasi — an Early Cretaceous enantiornithine bird from the Las Hoyas Formation, Spain. Notable for possessing the earliest known alula (bastard wing), enabling low-speed flight control. Small carnivorous avian preserved in lacustrine limestone with exceptional soft-tissue detail.
