† Neovenator salerii was a large carcharodontosauroid theropod (~7.5m) from the Early Cretaceous Wessex Formation of the Isle of Wight, England. One of the best-known early Cretaceous European theropods and the founding member of Neovenatoridae, it was an apex predator.
Diet & Feeding
Masillastega rectirostris was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
