† Tendaguria tanzaniensis is the type species of Tendaguria from the Tendaguru Formation of Tanzania. The Tendaguru beds are famous for producing one of the richest African dinosaur faunas, including Giraffatitan, Kentrosaurus, and other Jurassic giants.
