Brachyramphus dunkeli is an extinct murrelet from Pliocene deposits of California, United States. This small carnivorous alcid dived for fish in cold Pliocene Pacific waters and is related to extant marbled and Kittlitz's murrelets. Its fossil record contributes to understanding the Neogene diversification of auks along the North American Pacific coast.
