A close relative of Cyrilavis colburnorum, it is distinguished by subtle differences in its skeletal proportions. Known from limited material, it adds to the record of early predatory avians in North America.
Diet & Feeding
Cyrilavis olsoni was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
