† Eoanseranas handae — an extinct Miocene relative of the magpie goose from Australia. Herbivorous waterfowl with semi-terrestrial habits. Related to Anseranas semipalmata (extant magpie goose). Known from Riversleigh deposits of Queensland; represents the deep history of Australian waterfowl.
