Neochen barbadiana is an extinct sheldgoose (Anatidae) from Barbados. Known from Pleistocene cave deposits, this large grazing waterfowl inhabited Caribbean island habitats and went extinct following human colonization.
Diet & Feeding
Neochen barbadiana was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
