Septencoracias simillimus is a species of extinct Eocene roller bird closely related to Septencoracias, known from European deposits. These early coraciids help reconstruct the paleobiogeographic history of roller birds across the Paleogene.
Diet & Feeding
Septencoracias simillimus was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
