Sula magna is an extinct large booby from Pliocene deposits of Peru, significantly larger than any living booby species. Its discovery expands the known size range of sulid seabirds and documents the diversity of Neogene Peruvian marine avifauna.
Diet & Feeding
Sula magna was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
