† Pachycephalosaurinae is a subfamily of dome-headed dinosaurs with highly developed, spherical domes. The thick skulls (up to 25cm in Pachycephalosaurus) were used in head-butting contests similar to modern bighorn sheep, or for flank-butting displays.
