Nectornis anatolicus is an extinct Miocene pelican or cormorant-like pelecaniform from Turkey. A large colonial piscivore, it inhabited Neogene Anatolian coastal and freshwater environments in the Tethys remnant basins.

Nectornis anatolicus was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
