Nestor chathamensis is an extinct kea-relative (Nestoridae) from the Chatham Islands of New Zealand. A large parrot known from Holocene subfossil bones, it was extirpated following Polynesian and later European settlement.

Nestor chathamensis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
