Banji long

† Banji long was a Late Cretaceous crested oviraptorid theropod from the Nanxiong Formation of Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, China. This omnivore possessed a tall, rounded cranial crest and is known from a subadult specimen. Its name means 'half crest dragon' in Chinese, referring to the partially developed crest that likely grew larger in full adults.
