<dinofyi-dinosaur slug="ciridops"></dinofyi-dinosaur>An extinct genus of Hawaiian honeycreeper known from subfossil bones recovered in the Hawaiian Islands, USA, Ciridops is related to the 'ula-'ai-hawane, a nectar-feeding finch. Its skeleton suggests specialisation for feeding on native palm fruits. Like many Hawaiian honeycreepers, it became extinct following human colonisation of the islands.
