Migmanychion laiyang

† Migmanychion laiyang is an Early Cretaceous troodontid theropod from Shandong, China. A lightly built cursorial carnivore with enlarged sickle-shaped pedal claws, it contributed to knowledge of troodontid diversity in East Asia.

Migmanychion laiyang was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
