Unenlagiinae

† Unenlagiinae is the subfamily within dromaeosaurid theropods encompassing the southern hemisphere long-armed forms. Documented from the Late Cretaceous of Argentina, these specialized paravians bridge the morphological gap between true dromaeosaurids and avialans.

The final age of dinosaurs, featuring iconic species like Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Velociraptor. Dinosaurs reached their peak diversity before the catastrophic asteroid impact at the Chicxulub crater ended the Mesozoic Era.
