† Variraptor mechinorum is a Late Cretaceous dromaeosaurid from the Grès à Reptiles Formation of Provence, France. This fragmentary theropod represents one of the few dromaeosaurids described from Europe and contributes to understanding Late Cretaceous European theropods.
