Murgonornis archeri was an Eocene bird from Queensland, Australia, possibly related to hawks or owls. Recovered from the Murgon fossil deposits—one of Australia's oldest Cenozoic fossil sites—it documents early post-K-Pg avian diversity in the Australian continent.
