† Cairanoolithus roussetensis is a fossil egg oöspecies from the Late Cretaceous of Spain, belonging to the sauropod-attributed ootaxon Cairanoolithus. Distinguished from the French type species by subtle shell microstructural differences, it documents the geographic spread of titanosaur nesting activity across the Late Cretaceous Ibero-Armorican landmass. The Pyrenean and Iberian records of this ootaxon indicate repeated nesting colony usage of southern European coastal plains.
