Orthonyx temporalis is the Southern Logrunner, a small insectivore of subtropical rainforest in southeastern Australia and Papua New Guinea. It uses stiff spine-tipped tail feathers as a prop while scratching vigorously through leaf litter, eating insects, worms, and small invertebrates.
Diet & Feeding
Melanitta ceruttii was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
