<dinofyi-dinosaur slug="allosaurus-lucasi"></dinofyi-dinosaur>Named by Maddox in 1936, Allosaurus lucasi is a proposed species of Allosaurus from the Late Jurassic Morrison Formation of New Mexico, based on material from the Macho Creek area. Depending on the analysis, it has been treated as a valid species or as a synonym of A. fragilis, and its status remains under discussion as the systematics of Allosaurus continue to be refined.
