Galeamopus hayi

Galeamopus hayi is a diplodocid sauropod from the Late Jurassic Morrison Formation of the United States, named in honour of the palaeontologist O. P. Hay. A large herbivore about 24 metres long, it raked vegetation with long, peg-like teeth. Its skull form and neck proportions differ from those of other diplodocids, evidence used to support its recognition as a separate genus.
