† Gruipeda — an extinct crane-like bird ichnotaxon from Eocene or later deposits of North America. Trackways attributed to large wading birds; the 'crane foot' ichnogenus records the behavior and habitat use of extinct gruiform birds. Contributes to the Cenozoic bird track record.
