Boutersemia

Boutersemia is an extinct raptor genus from Oligocene or Miocene deposits of Belgium. These small carnivorous accipitrid or falconid birds are known from isolated bones and represent part of the diverse Paleogene raptor fauna of Western Europe. The genus contributes to understanding the radiation of diurnal birds of prey in the Cenozoic of the western Palearctic.

Carnivore

Boutersemia was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
