Numida is the genus of helmeted guineafowl (Numididae), large African galliforms with Quaternary fossil records from Tanzania. These social ground-feeding birds have been domesticated and are ecologically important seed dispersers.
Diet & Feeding
Numida was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
