Alamosaurus

Alamosaurus

†Alamosaurus was a giant titanosaurian sauropod from the Late Cretaceous (~70-66 Ma) of New Mexico, Utah, and Texas, USA. Revised estimates suggest it reached 20-30m and ~70,000kg — potentially the largest North American dinosaur. This quadrupedal herbivore is notably one of the last sauropods to live in North America, having re-colonized the continent from South America.
