† Caloenas canacorum was an extinct species of Nicobar-pigeon relative known from subfossil bones from Tonga and New Caledonia in the Pacific. Related to the living Nicobar pigeon (Caloenas nicobarica), it was a large, flightless or near-flightless herbivorous pigeon that subsisted on seeds and fruit.
