Megalosauropus broomensis

† Omeisaurus luoquanensis was a species of this long-necked sauropod from the Jurassic of Sichuan, China. Part of the diverse Omeisaurus assemblage from the prolific dinosaur sites of the Sichuan Basin, it represents the diverse sauropod fauna of East Asia.

Megalosauropus broomensis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
