Much larger than the living common hoopoe, it likely evolved enlarged body size as an island ecological generalist before going extinct.
Diet & Feeding
Upupa antaios primarily fed on insects and other small invertebrates. Insectivorous dinosaurs were typically small-bodied and agile, with adaptations suited for catching small prey.
