Acrocephalus luscinius

Acrocephalus luscinius, the Nightingale Reed Warbler, is an extinct passerine that lived on Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands in the western Pacific. About 17cm long, it was a reed-bed insectivore. The species became extinct in the 20th century, primarily due to the introduction of the brown tree snake (Boiga irregularis) to Guam after WWII.
