Asturaetus furcillatus is an extinct accipitrid raptor known from Eocene deposits of Australia. This carnivorous hawk is one of the early records of Accipitridae in the Australasian region, suggesting that predatory birds of prey colonized the continent during the warm climatic optimum of the early Paleogene.
