†Diomedea milleri is an extinct albatross from Pliocene or Pleistocene deposits of California, USA. This large pelagic seabird hunted fish and squid over the North Pacific. Its California fossil record documents the historical presence of great albatrosses in the eastern North Pacific before range contractions restricted modern species to the Southern Ocean.
Diet & Feeding
