† Eoglaucidium — an extinct Eocene owl genus from Denmark. Small nocturnal predator related to pygmy owls (Glaucidium). Represents early owl diversification in Europe. Known from the Eocene Fur Formation of Denmark, which preserves diverse early Cenozoic birds.

Eoglaucidium was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
