† Gallinago kakuki — an extinct snipe from the Bahamas, Caribbean. Small shorebird; carnivorous invertebrate forager. Island snipe; went extinct following colonization. Part of the diverse Caribbean Pleistocene shorebird fauna. Known from cave and Quaternary deposits of the Bahamian archipelago.
