†Dolichopterus viator is an extinct seabird from the Eocene or Oligocene of France. Known from fragmentary wing and limb elements, it is classified among early procellariiform or pelecaniform lineages. Its French Paleogene record adds to the picture of early avian diversification in the Tethys Sea region following the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum.
