Byronosaurus

† Byronosaurus was a small troodontid theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia. Like other troodontids, it possessed notably large eyes suggesting keen vision, a proportionally large brain indicating higher cognitive capacity among dinosaurs, and sickle-shaped killing claws. Its narrow snout and small, recurved teeth indicate a diet of small vertebrates, insects, and possibly eggs. It is among the best-understood troodontids from the Gobi Desert.
