† A genus of stegosaurid dinosaur from the Jurassic of Sichuan Province, China, Chungkingosaurus ('Chongqing lizard') was a medium-sized herbivore bearing paired plates and spikes along its back and tail. It inhabited subtropical floodplain environments alongside other stegosaurs and sauropods, forming part of the diverse Sichuan dinosaur assemblage.
