A Late Triassic ichnospecies from Tuscany, Italy, Coelurosaurichnus toscanus preserves tridactyl footprints of a small bipedal archosaur. The Tuscan tracks are among the Italian Triassic ichnological records documenting early theropod-grade locomotion on the northern Tethys margin, where Triassic terrestrial faunas included diverse dinosauriform archosaurs.
