Elongatoolithus laijiaensis

† Elongatoolithus laijiaensis is an oospecies of oviraptorosaurian dinosaur eggs from the Late Cretaceous Laijia locality of China. Like other elongatoolithid oospecies, the eggs are strongly elongated with characteristic prismatic eggshell microstructure. Clutches from Laijia show evidence of organised nesting behaviour, with eggs arranged in concentric rings.
