Ichthyornithes

† Ichthyornithes — 現生鳥類に近縁な歯を持つ白亜紀の鳥類の目または群。機能的な歯と現代的な翼の骨を持つ小型の魚食性鳥類。北アメリカと中央アジアの後期白亜紀の堆積層から知られている。K-Pg境界で絶滅したが、最も近い現生鳥類の親戚である。
