Milvago chimango is the chimango caracara, a living South American falconid with Pleistocene fossil records from Chile. This omnivorous and opportunistic raptor inhabits open grasslands, agricultural fields, and wetlands.
Diet & Feeding
Milvago chimango was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
