Miraquila terrestris is an extinct terrestrial seriema-like bird from Miocene Peru. A cursorial predator of the open pampas, it may be related to the phorusrhacid terror birds or seriemas (Cariamidae) of South America.

Miraquila terrestris was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
